By accessing or using Mappy Stars (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; the “Effective” date above will change when we do.

Mappy Stars is an online tool to create and edit personalized star map posters and related designs, and to export them as digital files (for example PNG or PDF). Features, limits, and availability may change as we develop the product.

You may need an account for certain actions (such as exporting or syncing projects). You are responsible for your login details and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information where registration asks for it. You can stop using the Service at any time.

You retain rights to the text, dates, places, and creative choices you add to your projects. To run the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely to operate, secure, and improve Mappy Stars, and to provide exports you request.

You will not use the Service unlawfully, to infringe others’ rights, to distribute malware, to scrape or overload our systems without permission, or to attempt unauthorized access to our or others’ data. We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe these rules are broken.

The Mappy Stars name, logo, UI, software, and documentation are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you ownership of them. You may not copy or resell the Service itself.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Star map visuals rely on astronomical models and inputs you provide; we do not guarantee fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss beyond fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (if any). Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

We may modify the Service or these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms where the law allows. For questions about these terms, use the contact options on the main site (for example the contact form or email shown in the footer).
